Border Collies are very intelligent, gentle, biddable and a loyal natured working dog breed.  A typical Border Collie life span is about 12-15 years. As a result care must be taken in choosing the perfect puppy that best suits you and your family.  Border Collies can be very tolerant with small children, although it is wise that this particular form of social interaction is established whilst your dog is still a puppy under adult supervision.
